The Parish Council along with Wellow Recreation and Wellow Valley Tennis are pleased to announce the building of the Sports Pavilion on the Playing fields in Wellow. 

The facilities will be located between the Play Park and Tennis courts and will include:
- a 10x5m Sports Pavilion
- a disabled access Toilet
- a 3x2m Storage unit for sports use.
- a decked out area in front of the buildings 
The Pavilion will be an exciting new facility for everyone in the community to enjoy. To meet a friend, enjoy the surroundings, join in the sporting activities or whatever appeals to you. Access arrangements are being worked out by the Pavilion committee but the intent is to seek to make the facilities open as often as possible. These arrangements will depend on volunteer support and the sports groups who will manage these arrangements.

Work programme is as follows:

5-7th March - Ground works including water, electricity and foul drainage

19-26th March - building structures are erected

April - fitting out the Pavilion, fencing and decking

5th May - launch day 

Preparations are in place to ensure the minimum of disruption takes place. Contractors have been informed of the health and safety regulations and to avoid critical times of Village Hall usage.

We have the funds in place to build the facilities but now we really need any help that you can give by raising funds to kit it out with the final touches and make the Pavilion a special place for you to relax and have fun.
